Rachel Harris M.A.

MA in Counselling Psychology

As a newly graduated Masters level MA in Counselling Psychology, I aim to create a safe and empathetic space where clients feel understood and empowered. I employ a strength-based, humanistic approach to counselling, focusing on the present and client goals. I feel that underlying client strengths can help to identify and develop abilities and skills to overcome issues that may come their way.

I have a foundation in behavioural analysis at the Centre of Mental Health and Addictions, where I support others through collaborative, person-centered care. I also have volunteered at the Calgary Kerby Centre providing psychoeducation and group therapy for seniors, exploring topics like grief, major life changes, and personal strength.
